After Elvis died in 1977, there have been so many rumors that he actually did not die, and he has been secreting living on the grounds of Graceland.
There were conspiracy theories that there was a wax impersonator in his coffin. When Elvis died, the world was at a loss and there were people who could not believe he died and wanted desperately to believe that he was still alive.
Rumors then took Elvis from Graceland and placed the King in various fast food chains around the country. Some say he was seen in a Burger King in Mississippi. There are still rumors to this day that he is still alive and that Lisa Marie is aware of it and that he is back with her living at Graceland and that is why the upstairs is kept off limits on the tour.
When someone as great as Elvis dies unexpectedly, rumors are expected to swirl but to the point where he is still living in Graceland and then he is spotted in fast food places. Those rumors tend to make one wonder? As far as Elvis is concerned, Elvis has left the building a long time ago. No one would want him alive more than Lisa Marie but the truth is that he is dead and as great as he is even Elvis can't come back.
